Obituary of Robert Lien Veum

Robert Veum, age 85 , of Cambridge, WI, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2014 at the University Hospital & Clinics in Madison, WI. Robert was born in Edgerton, Wisconsin on December 10, 1928 the son of Hattie (Lien)and Nordahl Veum. On June 20, 1953, Robert married Marilyn Joyce Klusmeyer in Evansville, Wisconsin. Marilyn preceded him in death on June 5, 2010. Robert was a member of the East Koshkonong Lutheran Church and he served as sexton for the East Koshkonong Cemetery for many years. Also served on the Board of Directors at the Cambridge State Bank, and involved with The Dane Co. Pork Producers. Surviving are: Children: , Randy (Beth) Veum, Cambridge, WI, Robbie (Monica) Veum, Cambridge, WI, and Steve (Kim) Veum, Raleigh, NC, Grandchildren: Aaron Veum, Amanda (Aaron) Lehman, Andrew Veum, Chris, Ben, and Greg Veum, and Annie, Ellie, and Reid Veum, and Great-grandchildren: Mya and Ava Lehman. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Marilyn, Daughter Pam and a grandson Nick Wiora. Funeral Services will be at East Koshkonong Lutheran Church, Cambridge, WI at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 15, 2014. Interment will be at East Koshkonong Lutheran Cemetery, Cambridge, WI Friends may call from 4-7PM on Monday, April 14, 2014 at the Nitardy Funeral Home, 208 N. Park Street, Cambridge, WI and after 10AM on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at the church until the time of the services.
