Obituary of Margaret Elizabeth Kohl

Margaret Elizabeth Kohl, age 95, of Cambridge, WI, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2014, at her home. Margaret was born in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin on July 19, 1918, the daughter of John and Anna (Kobs) Garthwait. On June 5, 1938, Margaret married Arthur Kohl in Madison, WI. Margaret worked as a pastry chef for Judd's Supper Club in Cambridge for over 40 years. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Cambridge, WI. Margaret loved to travel and enjoyed reading and cooking. Surviving are: Children: Nancy (Lyle) Walheim, Cambridge, WI, Tom (Sue) Kohl, Dousman, WI, and Cindy (Mike) Flasch, Richland, WA, Grandchildren: Holly (Jeff) Loomis, Jeff (Huldah) Walheim, Lindsay (Travis) Disney, Kellen (Leona) Flasch, Mitchell Kohl, and Bradley (Angela) Kohl, Five Great-grandchildren, Two Sisters: Joyce Stockfish, Cambridge, WI and Janet (Calvin) Clark, Fort Atkinson, WI, and Brother: William Garthwait, Fort Atkinson, WI. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arthur, two brothers, and two sisters. Per Margaret's wishes no formal services will be held. A Celebration of her Life will be held in July around her birthday. Private graveside services will be held at the Rockdale Lutheran Cemetery, Rockdale, Wisconsin at a later date. The Nitardy Funeral Home, Cambridge, WI is assisting the family.
