Obituary of Malcolm Creel McLay

Malcolm Creel McLay, 85, of Whitewater, WI passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Mercy Walworth Medical Center, Lake Geneva, WI. Malcolm was born on February 20, 1929 to John and Erchal (Creel) McLay in Janesville, Wisconsin. He graduated from Janesville High School. Malcolm served his country in the United States Army from 1951-1953. On September 19, 1953 he married Audrey Johnson in Whitewater, WI. Malcolm owned and operated McLay Auto Parts in downtown Whitewater for many years. He loved flying his Cessna Skyhawk ll airplane out of Palmyra Airport and was also involved in micro-mini tractor pulling. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Audrey McLay of Whitewater, Daughters; Deborah(Robert) Meyer of Blaine, MN, Ann McLay, Lynn Knot and Mary(Dale) Frampton of Appleton, WI, Grandchildren; Daniel Prisk, Ronan and Nessa Frampton, and Sister, Jean Arnold of Janesville. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers; James, Stanley and David McLay. A visitation will by held on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Nitardy Funeral Home, 550 N. Newcomb St., Whitewater, WI.
