Obituary of Robert Frank Bartman

Bartman, Robert - May 28, 2014 Robert Frank Bartman Passed away on May 28, 2014, at Our House Assisted Living in Cambridge WI. Born June 26th, 1929 in Wheeling Illinois to George and Elizabeth Bartman (Goettsche). Married Marion L Sandberg on April 11, 1953 and began farming near Clinton and Edgerton WI and was trained as a machinist working in Edgerton for many years. Bob came to know his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ in 1967 resulting in a changed life with many people impacted for Christ over the years. Bob was an avid fisherman, excellent gardener, and a master mechanic and gear maker. He invested his life in the lives of others, loved helping people, and fixing things. He spent time driving and fixing buses at Stoughton Baptist Church where he served as a deacon until becoming a member of Bible Baptist of Utica. Bob approached everything he did in life with seriousness and gusto, he accomplished much and enjoyed the fruits of his labor with his family and friends. Bob enjoyed many Canadian fishing trip adventures with Marion, his family, and friends over the years. He is survived by his sister Shirley Harms, three children: Mike (Jennie), Joe (Jill), and Gail along with five grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, George and Elizabeth Bartman, his loving wife Marion Bartman (Sandberg) after 60 years of marriage. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday June 1, 2014 at 4PM, with a lunch to follow at the Bible Baptist Church of Utica, 2095 Hwy W, Stoughton WI. Burial will be in the Albion Prairie Cemetery in the Town of Albion, Wisconsin. Friends may call after 3PM on Sunday at the church until the time of the services. Memorials can be made to Shepherds Ministries, 1805 15th Ave, Union Grove, WI 53182-1597 The Nitardy Funeral Home, Cambridge, WI is assisting the family.
