Obituary of James Albert Hanson

James Albert Hanson, age 67, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Monday, June 2, 2014 at the Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Facility in Johnson Creek, Wisconsin. Jim was born on November 16, 1946, the son of Ellsworth A. and Leona (Kruger) Hanson. He attended Marquette University. He raised vegetables and flowers and did woodworking projects that he sold to local markets. He enjoyed growing plants and gardening in his greenhouse, making beer and wine, woodworking, and keeping an active bee colony. Surviving are:Brother: Larry (Barb) Hanson, Mukwonago, WI, Sister: Pat Lersch, New Berlin, WI, Six nieces and nephews: Chris, Amy, Michael, John, Susan, and William, and Special Companion, Friend and Partner: Donna Essock, Fort Atkinson, WI. Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 6, 2014, at 1:30 PM at the Nitardy Funeral Homes Chapel, 1008 Madison Ave., Fort Atkinson, WI with Rev. Jerald Wendt officiating. Friends may call after 11:30AM on Friday at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel until the time of the services.
