Obituary of Verna Mae Kriedeman

Verna Mae Kriedeman, age 84, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Friday, June 6, 2014 at the Alden Estates of Countryside in Jefferson, Wisconsin. Verna was born at home on Curtis Mill Road, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin on October 11, 1929, the daughter of Harry and Rachael (Loga) Kowalke. On February 5, 1947, Verna married Victor W. Kriedeman Jr. in Fort Atkinson. Victor preceded her in death on September 17, 1996. Verna worked as a waitress, hostess, and homemaker. She was a lifelong member St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, Fort Atkinson and it's Ladies Aid. Surviving are: Two daughters: Diane (Ken) Rohlinger, Las Vegas, NV and Barbara (James) Kutz, Lebanon, IN, Daughter-in-Law: Denise (Kriedeman) Hoeye, Fort Atkinson, WI, Fourteen grandchildren, Seventeen great-grandchildren, and sister: Irene (Len) Heiliger, Fort Atkinson, WI. She is further survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Verna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Victor Jr., Step-mother Rose Wolf, and her son Roger Kriedeman. Funeral Services were held on Monday, June 9, 2014 at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin with Rev. Michael Duncan officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.
