They owned an island home which many activities took place with dear friends and family. Aletha always had a positive outlook. She was always seen with a smile on her face. Aletha was once asked: "Why do you smile so much?" She replied: "Because I choose to." Aletha didn't laugh... she giggled. She was always ready with positive support and some spiritual guidance. Many family members preceded her in death. Those would include her husband, Vern C.
