Obituary of Danny Charles Hodges

Cambridge - Danny C Hodges (Hodge) 60 loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and grandfather passed away on June 24, 2014 at UW Hospital in Madison after a lengthy illness. Dan was born February 23, 1954 in Manila, AR the son of William and Pauline Hodges. He graduated from South Beloit High School in 1972. He entered into marriage with his best friend and love of his life Diana Hodges in 1990. He retired in 2012 after working more than 30 years in the auto salvage industry, where he had many friends. Dan was an avid NASCAR and Chicago Bears fan who also enjoyed cooking. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Dan is survived by his wife Diana Hodges (Maholic) of Cambridge, mother Pauline Hodges of South Beloit, IL daughter Jennifer Sturm of Cambridge, son Chris Sturm of Bonita Springs, FL, Two sisters Carrie (Mike) Rosencrance of Roscoe, IL and Karen (Bruce) Barlow of Cambridge, Sister- In- Law Sue (Chad) Arnold of Bradford, PA, many other family members, 6 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father William. Family and friends may call at Nitardy Funeral Home, 208 N.
