Obituary of Alice Cecilia Mauel

Alice Cecilia Mauel, age 95, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Friday, July 4, 2014 at Sienna Crest in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Alice was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on August 1, 1918, the daughter of Paul and Cecilia (Kasabowski) Reszczynski. She attended St. Stanislaus School and graduated from Messmer High School in Milwaukee. On February 14, 1942, Alice married Arthur Mauel in Milwaukee, WI. Arthur preceded her in death on February 24, 1999. Alice worked as a receptionist and switchboard operator for Thomas Industries in Fort Atkinson, retiring in 1980. Alice was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Atkinson and the VFW and American Legion Auxiliaries. Surviving are: Sister: Florence (Robert) Haczynski, Milwaukee, WI, Sister-in-Law: Theresa Reszczynski, Waupun, WI and countless nieces and nephews. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arthur and five brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 11, 2014, at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1660 Endl Blvd, Fort Atkinson, WI with Father Brian Wilk celebrating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Friends may call after 9:30AM on Friday, July 11, 2014 at the church until the time of the Mass.
