Obituary of Anna May Rusch

Anna May Rusch, age 97, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Monday, August 4, 2014 at the Alden Estates of Countryside in Jefferson, Wisconsin. Anna was born in Brodhead, Wisconsin on November 7, 1916, the daughter of Roy and Mae (Chase) Neilly. Anna graduated from Fort Atkinson High School and then completed a nursing assistant program at MATC. She worked for Countryside Nursing Home and also provided private in home care for many years. On May 8, 1938, Anna married Chester Rusch at the Rockdale Lutheran Church Parsonage, Rockdale, WI. Anna was a member of Rockdale Lutheran Church, Rockdale, WI. Surviving are: Son: Randy (Mary) Rusch, Kokomo, IN, Daughter: Charlotte (Larry) Klug, Fort Atkinson, WI, and Daughter-in-law: Judy Rusch, Fort Atkinson, WI, Eleven Grandchildren: Adam (Kim) Rusch, Peter (Kristen) Rusch, Andrew Rusch, Jody (Scot) Marquardt, Lisa (Tom) Brom, Julie (Joe) Marino, James (Tiffany) Rusch, Jason Rusch, Scott (Sandy) Klug, Laurie Klug, and Linda Tews,and Many Great-grandchildren and Great-great-grandchildren. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Chester, son James Rusch, a brother William Neilly, and two sisters: Jessie Malenshek and Grace Feustal Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 7, 2014, at 11:00 AM at the Rockdale Lutheran Church, 107 Water Street, Rockdale/Cambridge,WI with Rev. Richard Dowling officiating. Burial will be in the Rockdale Lutheran Cemetery, Rockdale, Wisconsin. Friends may call from 4-8PM on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at the Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson, WI and after 10AM on Thursday at the church until the time of the services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial to the Rockdale Lutheran Church.
