Obituary of Beth Jean Siegle

Beth Jean Siegle, age 71, of Janesville, WI passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at the St. Mary's Hospital in Janesville, Wisconsin. Beth was born in Milwaukee, WI, on June 6, 1943, the daughter of John P. and Hazel (Warnke) Hurley. Beth earned her Bachelor of Science and Master's Degree in Education and was a special education teacher in the Janesville Public School District. Prior to her retirement, she served on the Janesville Schools Communications Committee, the Edison School Motivational Team, the Edison Climate Committee, and the Diagnostic Prescriptive Team. Beth also spent much time and energy as a founder of the Wisconsin Badger Camp. After her retirement, Beth continued her service to children and education as a homebound teacher. A proud mother and joyful grandmother, she most enjoyed spending time with her four grandchildren, visiting Disney World and Grandparents University. She was fond of playing cards with her friends and vacationing with her family. Beth�s kindness and generosity touched many lives and her presence is dearly missed by her surviving family and friends. Surviving are: Two Sons: Corey J. (Shiloh) Siegle Murfreesboro, TN Evan T. (Nicole) Siegle, Green Bay, WI. 4 Grandchildren: Lexi, Ella, Gavin, and Giana Sister: Ellen (Roger) Stutzman of Pewaukee, WI Brother: Dennis Hurley of Mobile, AL Beth was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 infant children: Jennifer Lynn Siegle and Christopher John Siegle. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 12, 2014 at the Nitardy Funeral Home, 1008 Madison Ave, Fort Atkinson, WI. Friends may call at 9:30 AM on Friday at the Nitardy Funeral Home until the time of service.
