Obituary of Marion Joan Brown

Marion Joan Brown, age 82 of Fort Atkinson, passed away at her home on Saturday, August 30, 2014. She was born on February 26, 1932 in Madison, Wisconsin the daughter of John and Clara (Voss) Sitar. She graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1950. Marion married Eugene "Bud" Brown on January 17, 1953 at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church. Bud preceded her in death on April 11, 2011. She worked at Tuttle�s Pharmacy in Fort Atkinson as a clerk for more than 20 years. She was a member of St. Paul�s Ev. Lutheran Church. She is survived by a sister-in-law Kathryn (Dean) Heiman of Fort Atkinson Son: David Brown of Illinois Daughter: Teresa Brown of Janesville Grandson: David Brown of California Special Nephew: Nathan Brown of Fort Atkinson Sister-in-Law: Linda (Ken) Neipert of Fort Atkinson Cousin: Vosse Lewis of Minnesota She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Marion was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 2 sons: Robert and Jerry Brown. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 5, 2014 at the Nitardy Funeral Home, 1008 Madison Ave., Fort Atkinson with Rev. Paul Scharrer officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday after 11:30 AM. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider St. Paul�s Lutheran School.
