Obituary of William Theodore Frey

William Theodore Frey Obituary William "Bill" Frey, 81 of Fort Atkinson died Monday, September 1, 2014. He had a stroke at home and passed away while under care in Hospice at the VA Hospital in Madison, WI with his wife, daughters and family by his side. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. We lost an amazing good hearted person. Bill was born in Chicago, IL in 1933, the son of E. Donn and Hortense (Dehl) Frey. He married Ann Pior on December 27, 1954 at St. Patrick�s Catholic Church in Whitewater. They would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year. Bill served in the United States Air Force and was in the National Guard for many years. He was partners in the Frey and Sons family business with his brother and father before becoming an insurance agent. He worked as an agent for Rural Insurance Company for 10 years until retiring. Bill loved the Green Bay Packers and was a season ticket holder for over 55 years. He would back them in the stands or at home, along with the Badgers and all Wisconsin sports teams. He enjoyed spending time with his family more than anything. He loved to help his nephew, Teddy with his business on Tuesdays, dog sitting for his niece, Mary when the opportunity would arise, cooking and reading. He attended all of his daughters� sporting events when they were in school. His favorite being a timer at their swim meets. He was a member of the board for F.A.S.T. (Fort Atkinson Swim Team) for many years. Surviving are his wife Ann of Fort Atkinson; his daughter Michelle and granddaughters Ciboney and Seanna Hellenbrand of Ventura, CA; his daughter Nicole, son-in-law Michael and grandchildren Tyler and Allison Mullaney of Bellport, NY; his brother Donn Jr. and sister-in-law EB of Palmetto, FL; his nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, brother-in-law, sister-in-laws, other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, William "Billy" Frey, Jr. and his parents. Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph�s Catholic Church in Fort Atkinson on Friday, September 5 at 11:30am. Friends may call at the church at 10:30 Friday before the service or Thursday, September 4, from 5-7 pm at Nitardy Funeral Home in Fort Atkinson. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Atkinson.
