Obituary of Jeffrey Paul Rattray

Jeffrey P. Rattray, age 66, of Waukesha, WI passed away on Thursday September 11, 2014 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. Jeffrey was born in Hartford, WI to Thomas and Elizabeth (Frings) Rattray on April 3, 1948. He graduated from Grafton High School where he founded a model rocket club while he was a student. Jeff earned his teaching degree, graduating from UW Oshkosh. He was a teacher and football coach for many years at the junior high school level in the Waterloo school district. Jeff was also dedicated to teaching in the summer school program. �He had a passion for space, aeronautics, model rockets, enjoyed reading and photography. Jeff was a huge Brewers and Packer fan. Jeff was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson for many years. Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth, three sons: Jonathan (Andrea) of Madison, Daniel (Jamie) of Raymore, MO, Christopher of Fort Atkinson and his beloved granddaughter, Stella. Siblings: Judy (Bill), Gail (Bob), David (Pam), Marti (Tom) and Meg (Steve), former spouse Kathy, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Thomas. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 20th at 2pm at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson, WI with Pastor Bryan Engfer officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 1pm until the time of the service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial to Trinity Lutheran Church.
