Obituary of Joseph Paul Bouvier

Joseph Paul Bouvier, age 55, of Fort Atkinson, WI joined his father, Harry (Pop) Bouvier in heaven on the evening of October 03, 2014. He died peacefully in his home where he battled pulmonary fibrosis after having struggled with cancer. Joseph was born to Harry and Janet Bouvier on March 6, 1959 at the Lockbourne Air Force Base in Ohio. Joseph came into this world 2 1/2 months early, fighting for his life, and then after fighting bravely a long terminal illness, he left this world early as well. Joe graduated from Jefferson High School in 1977. He worked for Schweiger Industries before joining the Navy. He served on the SS Ranger from 1979 until 1984. While on this service for our Country, Joe traveled to many places, with Australia being his favorite. He worked for Wright Tree Service before settling into his father's shop, Harry and Sons. After becoming disabled, Joe learned the trade of making jewelry, and he fashioned beautiful pieces. Many pieces were made for his mother and other family members. He became a professional at this art and attended trade shows in several states. He would often love to look at his crystals and gems and tell stories about them. He also enjoyed golfing and playing black jack. He leaves behind his mother, Janet Bouvier, Fort Atkinson; sister, Marie (Bob Sr.) Berg, Fort Atkinson; Brother, Richard (Emily) Bouvier, Fort Atkinson; maternal grandmother, Helen Wilson of Murfreesboro, TN; Niece and goddaughter, Amanda (Alonzo) Munoz, Delavan; another niece and goddaughter, Lydia Bouvier, Fort Atkinson; Nephews, Robert Jr. (Kara) Berg, Poynette and Tom Berg, Milton; great neices, Emma Berg, Milton, and Kayli Berg, Poynette; great nephew, Johnathan Berg, Poynette, and many special aunts, uncles and cousins.
