Obituary of John James Arnold

John J. (Midge) Arnold - 88 - Whitewater John J. Arnold passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home, King, Wisconsin after a long illness. Born in Madison, Wisconsin to John R. and Florence (Trask) Arnold, John served his country as a member of the 82nd Airborne in World War II. After the War he returned to attain an education at Wisconsin State Teachers College - Whitewater, in Mathematics. John held numerous positions in Engineering and Management including President of Amphenol Controls, Janesville and Dodgeville, and Vice President of Marketing and Manufacturing for Borg Warner, Oak Brook, Illinois. During the 70's & 80's he owned and operated Arnold Chrysler-Plymouth, Whitewater. John enjoyed architecture, golf, and travel. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, William Arnold; and a sister Kathleen (Peg) O'Connor. He is survived by a son, John D. Arnold of Jackson, Wyoming, a daughter Paula (Terry) Malone of Whitewater and a granddaughter Pamela Malone of Whitewater, and many nieces and nephews. Private services are being held by the family, with Nitardy Funeral Home, Whitewater, WI assisting the family.
