Obituary of Laura Jean Jaeckel

Laura J Jaeckel, age 52, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 peacefully at her home after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Laura was born on May 9, 1962 in Hartford, Wisconsin, the daughter of Barbara (Graf) and Jerald Kazmer. She graduated from Hartland Arrowhead H.S. class of 1980. Early on, Laura worked at the Milwaukee Medical College of Wisconsin and after marrying and having children found gratification in raising her daughters whom she loved dearly. In recent years, Laura enjoyed traveling and visiting her daughters to watch them play on their college soccer and basketball teams. Surviving are: Husband: Lee Jaeckel, Fort Atkinson, WI, Daughters: Jessica and Mikayla. Sister: LeAnn (Gus) Golembiewski Brother: Michael Kazmer Uncles: Ken (Ann) Kazmar, Jim (Sharon) Kaczmarski, Bob Graf, Ron Graf Aunts: Donna (Ron) Ganiere, Monica Campuzano And many other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Preceded in death by: her parents Jerald and Barbara Kazmer, Uncle Tom Graf, Aunts: Laverne (Tony) Toth, and Sue Graf. Per Laura's wishes no formal services will be held. A celebration of her life will be held on her birthday in the spring of 2015. The Nitardy Funeral Home of Fort Atkinson, WI. is assisting the family.
