Obituary of Marie Jeanette Peterson

Marie Jeanette Peterson, age 92, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at the Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital. Marie was born in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin on May 4, 1922, the daughter of Charles C. and Josephine (Reiss) Livingston. On August 6, 1943, Marie married Donald Robert Peterson in Milwaukee, WI. Donald preceded her in death on June 28, 2010. Marie worked at the Fort Memorial Hospital as an accounting manager for 21 years. She was also a talented dressmaker and tailor, who did machine knitting, quilting, and sewing. She was also a dressmaker for the late Mary Hoard. Marie was a member of Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, Fort Atkinson, WI. Surviving are: Children: Robert Lewis Peterson, Alan (Carolyn) Peterson, Patricia Staller, and David (Angela) Peterson, Grandchildren: Curtis Staller, Mark (Nicole) Peterson, Mindy (Jim) Reichenbach, Jessica (Jeremy) Hoeye, and Jeanette (Troy King) Peterson, Great Grandchildren: Aubrey, Ashley, and Alijah Peterson, Angalynn Josephine Hoeye, Zoey King, Step Grandchildren; Melissa(Brock) Skov, Ashby(Jennifer) Hibbs, Nolan (Yessica) Hibbs, Blake and Jason Hibbs, Step-Great Grandchildren; Brandon and Adisen Skov, Bryce, Rylee, Skyler and Griffyn Hibbs, Gavin, Teshana and Brianna Hibbs,�� Brother: Robert (Alice) Livingston, Edina, MN, She was preceded in death by her husband and her sister, Jane Jergenson, and Grandson, Damien Staller. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at 11:00 AM at the Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, 404 Roosevelt Street, Fort Atkinson,WI with Rev. Steven Wilkens and Rev. Ethan Steinbrenner officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Visitation will be from 10-11AM on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, Fort Atkinson, WI until the time of the services. Memorials may be made in Marie's name to Bethany Lutheran Church.
