Obituary of Phyllis Ann Kleinhans

Phyllis Ann Kleinhans, age 78, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at the Black Hawk Senior Residence in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Phyllis was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin on September 14, 1936, the daughter of Carroll and Mary (Pagel) Koch. On April 26, 1958, Phyllis married John August Kleinhans in Hebron, Wisconsin. Phyllis worked as a secretary for the Fort Atkinson School District for 25 years, retiring in 1996. Phyllis was a member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson, WI. She volunteered at Twice is Nice in Jefferson, WI. Phyllis enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, bird watching, and loved animals. Surviving are: Husband: John A. Kleinhans, Fort Atkinson, WI, Two children: Daniel (Shari) Kleinhans, Nekoosa, WI, and Julaine (Joe) Vorwald, Fort Atkinson, WI, Grandchildren: Lance (Erin) Eisele, Naperville, IL, Brooke (Tyler) Schultz, Fort Atkinson, WI, Jason Kleinhans, Nekoosa, WI, Allison Kleinhans, Nekoosa, WI, and Matthew Kleinhans, Nekoosa, WI, Great-grandchildren: Aubree and Landyn Schultz, Fort Atkinson, WI, and Sloan and Cora Eisele, Naperville, IL, Siblings: Kenneth (Sally) Koch, Fort Atkinson, WI, and Carol (Jerry) Mollenhour, Panama City Beach, FL. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, 301 S. High Street, Fort Atkinson, WI with Rev. Michael Duncan and Rev. Paul Scharrer officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Visitation will be from 4-6PM on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at the Nitardy Funeral Home, 1008 Madison Ave., Fort Atkinson, WI and after 10AM on Wednesday at the church until the time of the services.
