Obituary of Rodney Allen Wilson

Rodney Allen Wilson, age 48, of Whitewater, WI died peacefully at his home surrounded by his wife and children after succumbing to his battle of lung and bone cancer. Rodney was born on April 25, 1966, in Janesville, WI, the son of Clayton and Beverly (Holloway) Wilson Sr. He graduated from Milton High School in 1984. He served his country in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Tuscaloosa from 1984 until 1987. On September 30, 1989, Rodney married Juli Bushey in Elkhorn, WI. He worked as a road construction foreman for Mann Brothers from 1991 until 2012. He most recently had worked for Rams Contracting of Lannon, Wisconsin. He also served as the Road Supervisor for the Town of Whitewater. Rodney loved to fish, hunt, and enjoyed watching the Packers. He was a past member of the Town of Whitewater Lions Club. Surviving are: Wife:Juli (Bushey) Wilson, Whitewater, WI, Children: Bryce Wilson, Whitewater, WI and Makenzy Wilson, Whitewater, WI, Parents: Clayton Sr. "Tom" and Beverly Wilson, Janesville, WI, Siblings: Lora (Randy) Marsh, Milton, WI, Sue (Harley Von Behren) Wilson, Richland Center, WI, Tom (Lori) Wilson, Milton, WI, and Jeff (Jeanne) Wilson, Kansas City , MO, and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Rodney's life will be held on Saturday January 10, 2015 from 1 to 4 pm at the Whitewater Lion's Club, located at N7462 Kettle Moraine Drive, Whitewater, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the Rodney Wilson Memorial Fund established at the First Citizens State Bank, Whitewater, WI. The Nitardy Funeral Home, Whitewater, WI is assisting the family.
