Dear Stricker Family,
I'm so sorry to hear of your Mothers passing. The flood of memories that came back of all the times spent on your farm and your wonderful Mother. I could write all night about your Mom. She was an amazing woman with the strength of ten mules! Your Mom did it all. I remember her canning, gardening, sewing and her trying to teach me how to sew. She tried to teach me to bowl but I never was any good at it. She always lent an ear and she never judged. She kept law and order like no other. Her house was always well kept. She always amazed me at how much she could do. I think the thing she did best was raise strong girls and brought Tommy up to be a nice young man. I ran into your Mom about 6 years ago at Erickson's restaurant in Cambridge. Her, Gordy and Tommy were in there. She showed me her new coat the girls had gotten her and she was trying to remember where every one was living. She said oh shoot I don't know they are all over. I couldn't believe Tommy was all grown up now! I'm so glad I had that time to see them again. Your Mom will always hold a special place in my heart. I hope you all are well. Again I am so sorry for your loss. Betty was a wonderful person. Our condolences, Roy and Sue Nottestad Johnson

Roanna and Brenda, I am sorry to hear of your loss and the heart aches you are feeling. Roanna, I know how much you did for your mother and the time you spent with her can be remembered by you for years to come in your memories of her life in the good and bad times. If I can do anything for you let me know.
