Obituary of Cyrilla Irene Meitzner

Cyrilla "Cy" Irene Meitzner, age 80, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Facility in Johnson Creek, Wisconsin. Cyrilla was born in Loyal, Wisconsin on December 8, 1934, the daughter of Roman G. and Martina M. (Bauer) Renz. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1953. On August 9, 1955, Cyrilla married Gilbert C. Meitzner at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson, WI. Gilbert preceded her in death on October 29, 2004. Cyrilla was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fort Atkinson, WI. Surviving are: Son: Thomas A. (Lisa) Meitzner, Fort Atkinson, WI, Two Sisters: Janet Ebbert, Fort Atkinson, WI and Rita Vandre, Berlin, WI, Two Brothers: Dale (Elaine) Renz, Mississippi, and David (Linda) Renz, Ridgeway, WI, Grandchildren: Jason, Jennifer, Kristi, and Damon, Great-Grandchildren: Parker, Carter, Brian, Natalie, Courtney, Blake, Brady, and Brynn. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cyrilla was preceded in death by her parents Roman and Martina, her husband Gilbert, two sons: Brian and Bradley, brother Donald Renz, and a granddaughter Angela Meitzner. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at 11:30AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1660 Endl Blvd, Fort Atkinson, WI with Father Brian Wilk officiating. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Visitation will be from 10:00AM -11:30AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 until the time of the Mass.
