Obituary of Rosemary Josephine Goldsmith

Rosemary J Goldsmith, age 70, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at her home. We would like to celebrate the life of Rosemary Josephine Goldsmith (Fischer). Born October 15, 1944 in Strawberry Point, Iowa. Rosemary enjoyed being the life of the party. She loved people and would do anything to help. She would help people even without them knowing. Rosemary had many talents that were unrecognized by people. She loved pottery, crocheting, and cross stitching. Rosemary loved the Brewers. She loved her son Allen and her grandchildren immensely. She loved having the grandchildren by her side. Rosemary's wish was to pass away at home, which she got to do with the help of her family. Allen wishes to give a special thanks to Heather his step daughter, step granddaughter Isabell, step grandson Elijah, and his wife Patty, for being at her side until the end. Surviving are: Son: Allen Keith (Patty) Goldsmith, Fort Atkinson, WI, Grandchildren: Jamie Sue Goldsmith, Dalton Jarrett, and Mitchell Allen, Step Granddaughter: Rochelle M. Rodrigues and her son Braydon Johnson, Step-Granddaughter: Heather A. See, Step-great-grandchildren: Isabell See and Elijah See, Sisters: Betty Vingie, Stoughton, WI, Rita (Allen) Downing, Janesville, WI, Jessie Coleman, Syracuse, IN, and Bev Fischer, Janesville, WI, and many nieces and nephews. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents: Leander and Helen (Jarvis) Fischer, Siblings: Leander "Butch" (Cindy) Fischer, Janette "Ned" (Bob) Cookson, and Joyce (John) Erickson. The family would also like to extend many thanks to Becky, Jody, and Bridgette from Marquardt Hospice for the care they gave to Rosemary. A visitation and time of sharing memories will be held from 5-7PM on Friday, February 6, 2015 at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, 1008 Madison Ave., Fort Atkinson, WI.
