Obituary of Orvin Otto Schinke

Orvin Otto Schinke Sr., 75, of Whitewater passed away on Friday, February 13, 2015. Orvin was born on November 27, 1939 in Whitewater, Wisconsin to Orville and Meta (Potratz) Schinke. He attended Whitewater City High School. On September 29, 1962 Orvin married Necia Mayer at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Whitewater. He worked at Alpha Cast Foundry for many years before leaving to work for Whitewater Manufacturing until his retirement. Orvin is survived by his wife Necia, Son, Orvin Jr (Linda) Schinke, Madison, WI., Daughter, Tamara (Edward) Grommes, Rosco, Ill., Grandchildren; Nathan and Jacob Schinke, Lydia and Raymond Grommes and Adrian Doud, Sister, Suzanne (Kenneth) Zimmerman, Janesville, Sister-in-Law, Donna Schinke, Elkhorn. He was preceded in death by his Daughter, Peggy Sue, Grandchild, Monica Schinke, Brothers; William, Richard and two infant brothers, Sister, Lorraine. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Whitewater with burial to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery A Visitation will held on Monday, February 16, 2015 from 4:00-6:00pm at the Nitardy Funeral Home, 550 N. Newcomb St., Whitewater, WI and on Tuesday, February 17 at the church from 10am until the time of the service. The Nitardy Funeral Home, Whitewater, WI is assisting the family
