Obituary of Maria L. Rodriguez

Maria L. �Dona Mari� Rodriguez, age 80, of Whitewater died February 24, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in Lake Geneva. She was born December 24, 1934 in Laredo, Texas the daughter of Pedro and Julia (Davila) Rodriguez. She married Roberto Rodriguez on December 8, 1984 at First English Lutheran Church in Whitewater. Maria had worked at Schweiger Furniture in Jefferson. She enjoyed time with her children, and cooking Mexican cuisine. She is survived by her husband Roberto. Son: John (Rosemary) Villarreal Son: Calixtro (Sherri) Villarreal Daughter: Isabelle Grisham Grandchildren: Stevie Ray LeMacher, Jon and Alex Ludwig, Tony Ray Villarreal Step-Son: Phillip Rodriguez 4 Sisters: Lupe (Jaime) Gonzalez, Irma Miller, Maria Santos (Roberto) Reyna, and Teresa Hernandez. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Maria was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Elena Buckler, a brother, Pedro Rodriguez,Jr, and a nephew, David Gonzalez. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at First English Lutheran Church in Whitewater. Friends may call on Saturday at the church from 9:00 am until the time of service. Interment will be at Union Grove Cemetery. Nitardy Funeral Home of Whitewater is assisting the family.
