She was born on April 3, 1929, in Cambridge; the daughter of the late Olaf and Jennie (Kohl) Rindahl. Geneva was confirmed in Willerup United Methodist Church and was a member of that church. She was a life-long resident of Cambridge and a 1947 graduate of Cambridge High School. After graduation, she was secretary to E. H. Munson at his Law Office for many years.
