Obituary of Helen M. Mahle

Helen M. (Stewart) Mahle passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, surrounded by her family. She was born in Riceville, Iowa on July 23, 1922, the daughter of Amos and Gladys Stewart. Helen graduated from Albany High School. She worked as a switchboard operator in Juda, Fairbanks Morse, Chesters, George Bros., Melster Candy, and at the Deerfield Lutheran Church. Helen loved the outdoors and the local and NASCAR races. She is survived by daughter Patricia (Gerald) Bastian, Deerfield, WI, son Terry Mahle (Donna Hendrixson) Lebanon, TN, sister Alice Badertscher and sister-in-law Elaine Stewart of Brodhead, WI, grandchildren: Mark (Mary) Bastian, Michael Bastian, and Kelly (Shane) Shaw and six great grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 66 years Clarence, and brothers Frank and Donald. Funeral Services will be at the Willerup Methodist Church, 414 W. Water Street, Cambridge, WI at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 30, 2015 with Rev. Brian Cook officiating. Interment will be at Willerup Methodist Cemetery, Cambridge, WI. Visitation will be from 10AM to 11AM on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the church until the time of the services. The Nitardy Funeral Home, Cambridge, WI is assisting the family
