Obituary of Sherry L. Erdman

Sherry L. Erdman, age 72, of Fort Atkinson, WI went to her place in Heaven on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at the University Hospital in Madison, WI. Sherry was born on November 27, 1942 to David and Elaine (Miller) Bibow in Watertown, WI. After graduating from Jefferson High School, in Jefferson, Sherry went on to get her degree as a Phlebotomist. On November 7, 1965 She married James W. Erdman at the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jefferson, WI. Sherry worked for over 30 years at Fort Memorial Hospital before she retired in 2005. Sherry was a long time member of Faith Community Church, and enjoyed spending time with her family, seldom missing her grandchildren's sporting events. She was well known for her caring nature. She lived her life with a strong faith, caring heart, loving her family, and many many friends. In her memory, we share Psalms 34:14 from the Holy Bible: "Seek Peace and Pursue it." She will be dearly missed by her husband, Jim Erdman; 2 sons: Daniel J. Erdman, of Brunswick, GA, and Christopher L. Erdman, of Fort Atkinson; 2 daughters: Rebecca S. Erdman, and Lisa M. (Eric) Bethard, both of Fort Atkinson; 6 grandchildren: Ashley E. Erdman, Trevor D. Erdman, Katherine J. Erdman, Jacob L. Erdman, William E. Bethard, and Cameron D. Bethard. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 5, 2015 at 11am at Faith Community Church, Fort Atkinson with Pastor Don Christianson officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at the Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson, from 3-7pm and on Friday from 9am until time of service at the church.
