Obituary of Richard John Mules

Richard John Mules, Sr. age 69, of Janesville, WI passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at his home. Richard was born in Elkhorn, Wisconsin on March 4, 1946, the son of Leland and Evernia (Lidbury) Mules. He graduated from Whitewater High School in 1964. He served his country in the U.S. Marines from 1965 to 1969 during the Vietnam War. Richard worked for General Motors in Janesville, Wisconsin from 1973 until 2003. He enjoyed riding one of his many Harley-Davidson motorcycles, gardening, horseshoes, and spending time with his family. Surviving: Children: Richard J. (Jaime) Mules, Jr., Chicago, IL, Shelley Mules, Whitewater, WI, and Mandy Mules, Phoenix, AZ, Grandchildren: Tyler, Kali, Kayden, Charley, and Zachary, and Two sisters: Janet (Bruce) Bean, Glendale, AZ, and Joanne (Dennis) Kelley, LaVerne, CA. Richard was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2015 from Noon to 2:00PM with Military Rites to be conducted at 1:00PM at the Whitewater American Legion Post #173, 292 S. Wisconsin Street, Whitewater, WI, with food to be provided. Casual and comfortable jeans and t-shirts are the preferred attire for Saturday's events. Interment will be in the Phoenix Memorial Cemetery, Phoenix, AZ. "LIVE FREE. RIDE FREE." In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in memory of Richard to www.pets-for-vets.com.
