Obituary of Gerald Richard Brown

Gerald Richard Brown, age 76, of Delavan, WI passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at his home. Jerry was born in Hancock, Wisconsin on November 19, 1938, the son of Harold and Frieda Lillian (Klauch) Brown. On May 11, 1981, Jerry married Nancy Stockholm in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jerry was a self-employed auto body mechanic for 50 plus years. Jerry was a member of the New Life Assembly of God Church in Janesville, WI. He enjoyed restoring vintage cars and watching the Green Bay Packers. Surviving are: Wife: Nancy Brown, Delavan, WI, Two Sons: Terry (Debbie) Brown and Larry (Laura) Brown, Two Step-sons: Rick Bergholtz and Carl Johansson, Grandchildren: Eric Brown, Mathew Brown, Daniel (Julie) Paxson, Vanessa Cera, Mike (Alison) Brown, Kristy (Robert Schreck) Brown, and Nick Brown, Step-Grandchildren: Jessica (Ross) Slocum, Brad Bergholtz and Nadine, Rachel, and Chanelle, Great-grandchildren: Aidan, Brianna, and Tyler, Siblings: Elaine Sanders, Richard (Melba) Brown, Pat (Jim) Johansen, Mike (Kris) Brown, Steve (Penny) Brown, Randy (Mary) Brown, Tony (Janet) Brown, Jeff (Karen) Brown, Dennis Brown, Lori (Mark) Mullen, and Mark Brown and a sister-in-law: Bonnie Brown. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Charlie Brown. Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 15, 2015, at 11:00 AM at the New Life Assembly of God Church, 2416 North Wright Road, Janesville, WI with Pastor Michael Jackson officiating. Burial will follow the luncheon in the East Richmond Cemetery, Town of Richmond, Wisconsin. Visitation will be from 4-6PM on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at the Nitardy Funeral Home, 550 N. Newcomb Street, Whitewater, WI and after 10AM on Monday, June 15, 2015 at the church until the time of the services.
