Obituary of Joan Genevieve Rudoll

Joan Genevieve Rudoll, age 84, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at the Alden Estates of Countryside in Jefferson, Wisconsin. Joan was born in Emerald Grove, Wisconsin on December 21, 1930, the daughter of Allan and Kathryn Marie (Long) Richards. She graduated from Darien High School. On August 25, 1962, Joan married Harold William Rudoll in Dubuque, Iowa. Harold preceded her in death on November 28, 2002. Joan worked as a cab driver for Brown's Cab in Fort Atkinson for 20 years and she also worked at Countryside Nursing Home in Jefferson. Joan was a member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson, WI. Surviving are her children: William (Laura Sequeira) Eisentraut, Madison, WI, Cindy Judd, Janesville, WI, Ryan Douglas, Colorado, Kevin (Debbie) Rudoll, Cambridge, WI, Larry Rudoll, Jefferson, WI, Robert Rudoll, Fort Atkinson, WI. and James Rudoll, Cambridge, WI, nine grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Rodney Eisentraut, a daughter, Sheila Evans, two sisters: Dorothy Roe and Norma Rahm, and a brother Allan Richards Jr. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 01, 2015, at 11:00 AM at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, 301 S. High Street, Fort Atkinson, WI with Rev. Paul Scharrer and Rev. Matthew Vik officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Monday, August 31, 2015 at the Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson, WI and after 10 AM on Tuesday at the church until the time of the services.
