Obituary of Debra June Stauffer

Debra June Stauffer, age 55, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Monday, September 21, 2015 at her home. Debbie was born in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin on October 1, 1959, the daughter of Harold and Myrtle (Booth) Zech. She graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1977. On October 18, 1980, Debbie married Richard "Rick" W. Stauffer. Debbie loved to cook and enjoyed supporting and watching the Packers, Badgers, and Brewers. She was especially fond of waterfalls and enjoyed time spent traveling in northern Wisconsin to view them. Surviving are: Husband: Rick Stauffer, Fort Atkinson, WI, Two sons: Nathan Stauffer, Fort Atkinson, WI, and Adam (Amber Skillman) Stauffer, Janesville, WI, Grandchildren: Aidan and Ariana, Brothers: Edward (Mary) Zech, Fort Atkinson, WI, Vern Zech, Fort Atkinson, WI, Ken (Kerri) Zech, Whitewater, WI, Scott Zech, Fort Atkinson, WI, and Jeff (Reine) Zech, Whitewater, WI, Sister: Nancy (Greg) Carroll, Fort Atkinson, WI, and Brother-in-law: Gene Harris, Fort Atkinson, WI. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Lee and Ron Zech, and a sister Marie Harris. Visitation will be from 4-6PM on Friday, September 25, 2015 at the Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson, WI. A Celebration of Debbie's Life will be held at a later date.
