Obituary of Florence Mae Jordan

Florence M. Jordan Florence Mae Jordan, 90, of Fort Atkinson, was called from her earthly home to her eternal resting place, Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015. Florence was born to Emroy and Bertha (Tegt) Streich, of Jefferson, on May 4, 1925. Her family included three younger brothers, Alan (Nancy), Ronald (Joann), and Dean Streich. She shared her last 42 years with her loving, faithful, and patient husband, Lynn. Lynn has fulfilled his role as stepfather with love and respect for her four children, Betty (Doug) Vail, Fort Atkinson; Sally (Tom) Tamblingson, Colorado; Patsy (Robert) Seisser, Fort Atkinson; and Gerald �Josh� Klettke, Jefferson. Florence experienced many challenging struggles along with countless cherished life memories. She gave freely of herself to help others. Her children were nurtured and cared for. She also tended to her aging parents and took in other family members throughout her life. Florence worked at J.C. Penney and Badger Mills in Fort Atkinson. Following her desire, she earned certification and employment by Midwest Home Nursing Care, Oconomowoc. She did her service with pride and enthusiasm, and delighted in tending to many wonderful patients. Throughout her life she loved dancing, doing cartwheels, playing piano, bowling, card clubs, and most of all driving her sporty red convertible and caring for numerous pets. She was drawn to polka dots, helium balloons, rings, and music. Florence�s life included loving grandchildren Jody (Gary) Mueller, Colorado; Vickie (Brian) Dostalek, Milton; Lisa Tamblingson, Florida; Gwen (Mike) Abadie, Florida; Lloyd ��Buddy� Tamblingson, Colorado; Tiffany (Mark) Misko, Madison; Cassidy (Jarrett) Sampson, Fort Atkinson; and Jared Klettke Lawson, Florida. And great-grandchildren Grant Mueller, Austin and Jordyn Dostalek, Brandon Wilson, Travis and Shane Abadie, Tyler Tamblingson, twins Roman and Sadie Misko, and Vasher and Blake Sampson. The family circle also includes three great-great grandchildren. Preceding Florence in death were her parents; former husband Edwin Klettke; two brothers, Alan and Ronald; two son-in-laws, Tom and Robert; and other family and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2, 2015 from 1-2PM at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, 1008 Madison Ave., Fort Atkinson, WI followed by Funeral Services at 2PM with Rev. Kimberly Jordan officiating. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Farmington, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Rainbow Hospice of Jefferson, Trinity Lutheran Church, Fort Atkinson, or the charity of personal choice. We ask each of you to pray for Florence�s eternal peace, and that she is comforted by God�s care and grace. Let us remember her goodness and allow time to heal our hearts. May our love be with you for your role in each of our lives.
