Obituary of William Eugene- Stachel

William Eugene "Groundhog" Stachel, age 64, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2015 surrounded by his loving family at his home. Bill was born on June 14, 1951 in Confluence, PA to Elwood E. and Reba C.(Haynes) Stachel. On January 13, 1973 he was married to Deanna Kuster in Janesville, WI. He worked for several years before retiring from Jones Dairy Farm in Fort Atkinson. Survivors include his wife: Deanna Stachel, of Fort Atkinson; daughter: Tera (Shawn) McCulloch, of Oconomowoc; son: Joshua (Heather) Stachel and their children, Eusebius and Adella,of Fort Atkinson; brother and best friend: Edgar (Phyllis) Garland, of Conneaut, OH; brother: Wayne (Bridget) Garland of Fort Hill, PA, brother: Randy (Mary) Stachel, of Fort Atkinson; brother: Russ (Donna) Stachel, of Fort Atkinson; sister: Louise (Ron) Karla, and sister: Carla (George) Rugg, both of Confluence, PA. Bill was preceded in death by his father: Elwood Stachel, mother: Reba Stachel, and brother: Michael Stachel A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, November 13, 2015 at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 302 Merchants Ave, Fort Atkinson, WI with Fr. Andrew Hanyzewski officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8PM on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the Nitardy Funeral Home, 1008 Madison Ave., Fort Atkinson, WI and after 10AM on Friday at the church until the time of the services.
