Obituary of Howard Frank Duckert

Howard Frank Duckert, age 77, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015, at University Hospital & Clinics in Madison, WI. Howard was born on November 25, 1937 in Lake Mills, Wisconsin the son of Vernon Wesley and Evelyn Mabel (Krueger) Duckert Sr. he grew up in the Lake Mills and London area. On October 14, 1970, Howard married June Zuelsdorf in Jefferson, Wisconsin. Howard worked as an iron worker and was a member of the Madison Iron Workers Local #383. Surviving are: his wife: June Duckert. Fort Atkinson, WI, Children: Lisa (Mike) Prideaux, Edmond, OK, Jodi (Jason) Krause, Milton, WI, and Ryan (Kelly) Duckert, Jefferson, WI, Seven Grandchildren: Sarah, Sheena, Jennifer, Kayla, Dani, Mackenzie, and Morgan, Five Sisters: Janette (Gerald) Brown, Bellville, WI, Marie Galston, Watertown, WI, Dorothy Zell, Grinnell, IA, JoAnn Duckert, Fort Atkinson, WI, and Diane (Dave) Brunk, Montello, WI and Three Brothers: Glenn (Gert) Duckert, London, WI, Marvin (Darlene) Duckert, Madison, WI, and Vernon (Betty) Duckert, Jr., London, WI. Howard was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers-in-law Billy Galston and Gene Zell. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and a Family Graveside Service will be held at a later date at the Kroghville Cemetery, Town of Lake Mills, WI. The Nitardy Funeral Home is assisting the family.
