Obituary of Zivan Perich

Born to Eternal Life October 4, 2008 at the age of 84 years. Beloved husband of Bea for 56 years. Dear father of Helen (David) Peplinski of New Berlin, Mary (Luke) Perry or Wauwatosa and Joni Perich of Hales Corners. Loving grandfather of Garrett and Tyler Willingham; Rachel, Roman, Jordan and Jacob Peplinski. Further survived by Scott (Julayne) and Jason Willingham. Zivan served in the Serbian Army and later in the English Service during WWII, then immigrated to America in 1950, where he immediately found work since he was fluent in seven languages. He and Bea met while studying for their citizenship, were married and loved each other endlessly. In the 1968, they bought the little farm on the knoll on Townline Road west of Hwy 89 and this is the home they cherished and where they spent their retirement , constructing an impressive addition to the house, and cultivating beautiful gardens filled with vegetables, fruit trees, grapes, and flowers. They sold their farm in 2002 to be closer to their daughters near Milwaukee. He was a life long learner and mentor to many, had a heart of gold, and gave his best to everyone he touched. He had a sharp mind in math and physics, and was a critical thinker, a talented farmer, arborist, craftsman and manager. He enriched his family and co-workers with all his wisdom and will be deeply missed and never forgotten. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, September 19th, 2009 at 11:00AM at the Utters Corners Cemetery in the Town of Lima Center
