Obituary of Glen Wayne Mossman

Glen Wayne MOSSMAN, age 92, of Jefferson, Wisconsin, passed away, Sunday, March 22, 2009, at his home. �Glen was born in Bidwell, Ohio on May 23, 1916, the son of Homer David and Rachel Hood (Topping) Mossman.� He graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Commerce in 1938 from Ohio University and received his Master's Degree in Economics from the University of Cincinnati in 1947.� On June 8, 1947, Glen married Glenda Buchanan in Ashland, Kentucky.� Glenda preceded him in death in on October 14, 1995.� Glen worked as the Chief Financial Officer for various small to medium sized companies.� He worked as Controller, Treasurer, Vice President of Finance; updating information systems, turnarounds, general administration and acquisitions. He served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1942 to 1946. He was in ROTC from 1936-1938, Enlisted Reserve Corps from 1938 to 1942 and Enlisted Reserve Corps from 1942 to 1949. Glen was a member of Pershing Rifles, the China-Burma-India Veterans Association, and the Flying Tigers of the 14th Air Force Association. �Surviving are: Brother-in-Law: Edward Buchanan and Sister-in-Law: Eda Rae Thornbury, both of Kentucky. He is further survived by other family and friends. �Glen was preceded in death by two sisters, Irene Brannon and Betty Bowling. �Graveside services with military rites will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at 11:00AM at the Cushman Cemetery, Town of Hebron, Wisconsin, with Father Phillip Boeve officiating. �Memorials may be given to the Humane Society of Jefferson County. �The Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson is assisting the family
