Obituary of Irene Laatsch

Irene Esther Evalin LAATSCH, age 89, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, died Saturday, April 11, 2009, at the Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital. Irene was born in Columbus, Wisconsin on December 14, 1919, the daughter of Arthur and Marie (Henke) Retzlaff.� She married Paul W. Laatsch on December 20, 1941.� Paul preceded her in death on January� 13, 1999.� Irene was a member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church and it's Ladies Aid.� She enjoyed going out to eat. Surviving are:a Sister: Mrs. Marian Manske, Fenwick, MI.� She is further survived by nieces and other relatives and friends. Irene was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Walter and sisters; Bernice Heiking, Elsie Raymond, Adela Schloesser, Alma Brumm and Viola Braatz. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at 1100AM at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, Fort Atkinson with Rev. Paul Scharrer officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Friends may call after 10:00AM on Wednesday at the funeral home until the services. Memorials may be given to the charity of one's choice.
