Jerry A BROWN, age 73, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin was delivered into the hands of the Lord, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family on April 15, 2009. �Jerry was born March 25, 1936 in Milwaukee. Jerry retired from the Milwaukee County Sheriffs Department before moving with his wife, Jackie, to Fort Atkinson.� He loved life and had a keen sense of humor. He was a very compassionate and loving man who was always ready to lend a helping hand at those in need. �Surviving are: His loving and devoted wife Jackie, Sons: Michael (Leigh) Brown, and Bob Jaeck and his fiance Thuy, Daughters: Lori Kerwin and her fiance Paul, and Lisa (Jim) Bendig, Sisters: Bonnie Corrick and Kris (Jerry) Foley, and sister-in-law Nancy Brown, Grandchildren: Tyler (Terica), Amanda, Gina, Justin, Dana, Ashley, Brennan, Tony, Jon and Nate, Great-Grandchild: Trevor, Adopted Son: Steve, and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. He is also survived by his faithful dogs Princess and Banjo. �Jerry was preceded in death by his son Paul, brother Tom, brother-in-law Dick Corrick, and parents Ted and Lillian. �Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 18, 2009, at 10:30AM at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bill Beyer officiating.� Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. �Friends may call after 9:00AM on Saturday at the funeral home until the services. �Jerry's family is extremely thankful and appreciative of Rainbow Hospice Care. �Dad and Grandpa, we will miss your wisdom- you were our "Book of Knowledge."
