I was so very sad to hear about Judy's death. Judy was a dear friend in junior high - she and I spent many hours at her house. I can remember very distinctly her teaching me her paper route so I could back her up from time to time. Though we went in different directions as we grew up, I always thought of her fondly - such a lovely girl! My deepest sympathies to her husband, parents, and siblings.

Hank and Judy, you may not remember me; I am the youngest of the Halferty children that lived next to you on Oakwood.
I am very sorry to hear about Judi. It seems as if we (your kids, my siblings and me) used to play outside for countless hours having fun! Those were such carefree days! The memories are flooding my mind!
I can only imagine how hard this must be for you. When I am overwhelmed with life, I find solace on the Bible verse, Matt 11:28-30. It talks about how we can find rest in God during difficult times. I pray that you, too, can find rest during this hard time. That may not be an easy task, but know that I am praying for you and your family.
Take care,
Paula (Halferty) Smallwood

Hank & Judy, Just read the Ott. Courier. I feel terrible about this. Doesn't seem like 40 years could have passed. I'd have picked up the phone, but know you are not in Ott. now. I am very sorry. Paul Halferty
