Obituary of Duane R. Bakken

Duane R. BAKKEN, age 65, of Cambridge, Wisconsin, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at Birch Terrace, in Fort Atkinson, WI. �Duane was born in Cambridge, Wisconsin on September 30, 1943, the son of Maynard J. and Evelyn (Bailey) Bakken.� He graduated from Cambridge High School.� Duane worked as a butcher for Shop Rite and other area stores.� He also was a tavern owner in the Cambridge area. �Surviving are: Two Sons: Steven (Pamela) Bakken, Fort Atkinson, WI, and Mark (Shawna) Bakken, Fort Atkinson, WI, Grandchildren: Savannah, Tanner, Emilie and Alex Bakken, Brother: Richard (Nancy) Bakken, Michigan and his Former Wife: Judy Rusch, Fort Atkinson, WI. �Duane was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Keith Bakken. �Private Family Services will be held, with burial in East Koshkonong Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Christiana, Wisconsin. �Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Rainbow Hospice, Jefferson, Wisconsin. �The Nitardy Funeral Home, Cambridge is assisting the family
