Obituary of Chet Feltych

Chet Feltych, age 71, of Whitewater, WI/Schaumburg, IL, died on June 2, 2009. �He was born on December 31, 1937 in Chicago, IL, the son of Chester Sr. and Wanda Feltych.� He married Dolores Fleck on October 14, 1961 in Cicero, IL.� He was in the Army National Guard for 9 years.� He moved to Schaumburg, IL in 1965 where he lived until moving to Whitewater Lake to enjoy the rest of his retirement.� He was a volunteer fireman for 13 years, worked for Motorola and retired from AT&T in 1989.� He volunteered many hours at the Campanelli YMCA, drove school bus and coached in SSA soccer.� Chet was a member of St. Marcelline's Catholic Church for 32 years where he received his 3rd and 4th degree Knights of Columbus.� He then joined St. Partick's Catholic Church in Whitewater and continued as a 3rd and 4th degree Knight.� He enjoyed watching his grandchildren's sports games and dane recitlals, and taking leisurely boat rides, and scenic rides on his motorcycles. �Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Dolores Feltych of Whitewater, WI, his daughter: Deborah (Ed) Simpson of Winslow, IL; his son Bryan Feltych of Schaumburg, IL, his daughter Christine (James) Caley, Janesville, WI, his sister Wanda Thompson of Airzona.� He was blessed with 7 grandchildren; Nate, Ben and Elainna Simpson, Brianna Feltych, Zach, Avery, and Jamison Caley, and several nieces and nephews.� He is also survived by his 2 loving dogs, Angel and Candy who will also miss him very much. �Visitation will be at the Nitardy Funeral Home, 550 N. Newcomb Street, Whitewater, Wisconsin 53190 from 2-5PM on Sunday, June 7, 2009 and on Monday, June 8, 2009 from 10AM until 11AM at the church. �A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, June 8, 2009, at 11:00AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Whitewater, WI. �In lieu of flowers as an expression of sympathy masses would be appreciated. �A special thank you to Dr. Dena Green, the Oncology and Hematology department and TCC at Mercy Hospital in Janesville, WI.
