Obituary of Sylvia Jeannett Riggs

Sylvia Jeannett RIGGS, age 76, of Whitewater, Wisconsin, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at the Beloit Health & Rehab Center, Beloit, WI. Sylvia was born in Beloit, Wisconsin on November 8, 1932, the daughter of Ira and Sylvia Jeannett (Comstock) Stevens. She graduated from Beloit Memorial High School. On June 26, 1954, Sylvia married Alfred H. Riggs at the First United Methodist Church in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Sylvia loved to read. Surviving are: Daughter: Joyce (Alan) Hutchison, Whitewater, WI, Two Grandsons: Paul and Eric Hutchison, Whitewater, WI, Three Great-Granddaughters: Brianna, Kaylie and Jazalyn Hutchison, and One Great-Grandson: Miles Hutchison. Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, eleven brothers and sisters and a grandson Brian Hutchison. Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 26, 2009, at 11:00AM at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, Whitewater, Wisconsin with Rev. Jerald Wendt officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillside Cemetery, in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Friends may call after 10:00AM on Friday, June 26, 2009 at the Nitardy Funeral Home until the services.
