Obituary of Rosella E. Hoffman

Rosella E HOFFMAN, age 91, of Hebron, Wisconsin, passed away, Sunday, July 5, 2009, at Fort Memorial Hospital. Rosella was born in Menominee, Wisconsin on September 8, 1917, the daughter of Sameul and Rose (Algiers) Cartwright. She married Floyd G. Hoffman on October 21, 1935 in Sullivan, Wisconsin. Floyd preceded her in death on January 2, 2002. She lived and farmed in Rome most of her life. In May of 1977 Rosella and Floyd moved to Hebron. She worked at the former Moe Light and then Thomas Industries for 30 years. She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Great-Great-Grandmother who will be sadly missed. Surviving are: Three Daughters: Charlotte (William) Miller, Janesville, WI, Jane (Felix) Hernandz, and Shirley (Robert) Jackson, both of Fort Atkinson, WI, and a Son: Robert J. (Carol) Hoffman, Helenville, WI, Nine Grandchildren: Sandy Stapelmann, William Miller, Denise Harris, David North, Dawn Lindert, Sabrina Moses, Shannon Staude, Dustin and Jason Hoffman, Ten Great-Grandchildren: Lisa , Ian, Danny, Ashley, Gregg , John, Hailey, Mason, Zach, and Danica, Four Great-Great-Grandchildren: Owen, Michael, Sky and Tristin, Two Sisters: Frances Di Marcantonio of Waukesha, WI, and Mary Finn of Delafield, WI, and Two Sisters-in-law: Leone Ortelle of Fort Atkinson, WI and Lillian Cartwright of Oconomowoc, WI. Rosella was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Margaret Hahn and Ethel Cartwright and five brothers, Leonard, Alouis, Robert, Gordon Sr and Lyman Cartwright. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at 4:00PM at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, Fort Atkinson with Rev. John W. Wells officiating. Following cremation burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery, Rome, Wisconsin. Friends may call from 2-4PM on Wednesday at the funeral home until the services.
