Obituary of Edna Emma Wagner

Edna E. Wagner, age 75, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at her home. Edna was born September 25, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Fred and Amanda (Lindemann) Woeckener. On February 15, 1958, Edna married Robert Wagner at St. Pius Church in Stickney, IL. Robert preceded her in death on August 5, 2009. Edna was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church and Badger Chapter FMCA RV Group. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, gardening, fishing, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and friends. Edna loved to watch and care for birds. Surviving are: Daughters: Cindy (Mickey Willard) Wagner, of Chicago, IL, Tina (Don) Phillippe, of Geneva, IL; Son: Michael (Ericka) Wagner, of Naperville, IL; Grandchildren: Samantha and Robert Phillippe, and Justin, Brendan, and Sean Wagner; Sisters: Harriet Heis and Alice Bulthuis and Brother: Fred (Pat) Woeckener. She was preceded in death by her Parents and Sisters: Lillian Mangus, and Ethel (Rudy) Schroeder. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 12:00PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1660 Endl Blvd, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin with Father Jay Poster celebrating. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, WI. Friends may call on Friday, September 25, 2009 from 4-8PM at Nitardy Funeral Home, 1008 Madison Ave., Fort Atkinson , WI and also on Saturday from 10:30AM until the time of Mass at the church.
