Obituary of Dorothy Cora Schmidt

Dorothy Cora Schmidt, age 84, of Cambridge, WI., died on Friday, November 27, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, WI. Dorothy was born on August 16, 1925 in the Town of Concord, WI to Herbert and Esther(Geissler) Waldmann. On June 16, 1945 Dorothy married Robert Schmidt at St. Peter�s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Helenville, Wisconsin. Robert preceded her in death on June 23, 1991. She enjoyed gardening and sharing the fruits of her labor with others. She loved to be outdoors and taking care of her yard. Dorothy was a member of East Koshkonong Lutheran Church. Dorothy is survived by her daughter; Lori(James) Alme of Stoughton, WI, Brothers; Leroy(Lucille) Waldman of Jefferson, WI, Arnold(Teri) Waldmann of Jefferson, WI., Marvin(DeDe) Waldmann of Canon City, CO., Sister; Betty(Kenneth) Olson of Janesville, WI., and Granddaughter; Ashley Alme. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son; Michael Schmidt and brother; Lloyd Waldmann. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at 11:00am at the East Koshkonong Lutheran Church with Rev. Clint Schnekloth officiating. Burial will follow in the Kroghville Cemetery, located in Town of Lake Mills, Wisconsin. Friends may call on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 from 9:00am until the time of the service at the church. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Doctors Sanyal and Miryala as well as the caring nursing unit at Five Southwest at St. Mary�s Hospital, Madison, WI.
