Obituary of Agnes Louise Walheim

Agnes Louise WALHEIM, age 97, of Deerfield, Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2009, at Helen's Happy Home, in Deerfield, WI. Agnes was born in Bristol Township, Wisconsin on October 20, 1912, the daughter of Erick and Nellie (Viken) Lerdahl. In June 1941, Agnes married Arne Walheim at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Madison, Wisconsin. Arne preceded Agnes in death in October 1976. Agnes worked for the State of Wisconsin. She was a member of West Koshkonong Lutheran Church and it's ladies group. She was involved with the Girl Scouts and enjoyed traveling to Norway. Agnes was proud of her American/Norwegian Heritage. She loved to do scrapbooking. �Surviving are: Daughter: Shirley Hanson, Deerfield, WI, Son: Harvey Walheim, Grandchildren: Erik (Jenny) Hanson, and Bjorn (Sarah) Hanson, Great-Grandchildren: Ryan, Finn, Collin and Lyla Hanson. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Arne, sisters Ella, Amanda and Louella, a brother Roy and son-in-law Lyle Hanson. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2009, at 11:00AM at the West Koshkonong Lutheran Church, Town of Pleasant Springs, Wisconsin with Rev. Richard Dowling officiating. Burial will follow in the West Koshkonong Cemetery, Town of Pleasant Springs, Wisconsin. Friends may call after 10:00AM on Wednesday at the church until the services. Memorial may be made to West Koshkonong Lutheran Church or to HospiceCare, Inc. Special thanks to Agnes� caregivers at Helen�s Happy Home: Julie, Jennifer, Josh, Emily, Helen and Katy H.
