Obituary of Lyle Edgar Schmidt

Lyle Edgar SCHMIDT, age 80, of Lake Mills, Wisconsin, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2009, at his home, in Lake Mills, WI. Lyle was born in New Auburn, Wisconsin on July 2, 1929, the son of William and Martha (Lehman) Schmidt. He graduated from Bruce High School in Bruce Wisconsin. He worked as a farmer and truck driver. On July 23, 1954, Lyle married Nancy Benson in Bruce, Wisconsin. Nancy preceded him in death on May 29, 2004. �Surviving are: Three Daughters: Sharon (Walter) Robbins, Woodbury, MN, Connie Pierson, Montrose, MI, and Linda (Robert) Malsom, Bruce, WI, and One Son: Kevin (Kristi) Schmidt, Lake Mills, WI, 10 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren , Sister: Loraine Calkins, Rice Lake, WI, and Brother: Lowell Schmidt, Ladysmith, WI. Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Karl and Norman Schmidt and a sister, Helen Springer. A Memorial Service will be held at Faith Community Church in Fort Atkinson on Saturday, December 26, 2009 at 2:30PM. The Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson is assisting the family
