Obituary of Violet Harriet Klettke

Violet Harriet KLETTKE, age 81, of Jefferson, Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2009, at Countryside Nursing Home, in Jefferson. Violet was born in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin on May 20, 1928, the daughter of Frederick and Stella (Schoellkopf) Trieloff. She graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1946. On July 26, 1947, Violet married Claude Klettke at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson. Violet was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Jefferson, WI. She enjoyed cooking and caring for her family. Surviving are: Husband: Claude Klettke, Jefferson, WI, Two Daughters: Cheryl (David) Olson, Jefferson, WI, and Debra (Daniel) Petty, Jefferson, WI, and a Son: Dale (Esther) Klettke, Pleasanton, CA, Three Grandsons: Craig Petty, Jefferson, WI, Jade Petty, Monona, WI, and Francis Klettke, Pleasanton, CA, and a Sister: Dorthea Behlke, Fort Atkinson, WI. She is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Violet was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at 11:00AM at the St. Mark's Ev. Lutheran Church in Jefferson with Rev. Kenneth Comstock officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery, in Jefferson, Wisconsin. Friends may call from 4-8PM on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at the Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson, WI and after 10:00AM on Wednesday at the church until the services.
