My daughter told me of this site. I didn't know about it. I just wanted to thank all of you for your kind words.
Reading your words, was a comforting distraction from reality.
Ralph would be humbled, and I am grateful.
Thank you--Robin

Robin and family,
Frank Miles called to tell me about Ralph.
Our hearts go out to all of you.
What a gentle giant of a man. I will never forget him and the times we spent together in class and football. Robin, your thoughts really say it all.

Dear Robin and Family,
I want to offer my deepest condolences on your, and our, loss. As a fellow student of WHS I knew Ralph as an athlete, leader and friend. Ralph was generous, kind and steady. Slow to anger and solid in this convictions, I always felt secure in his presence.
I was touched by your kind words, any man would aspire to be seen by his by his wife in such a way. You did him great honor.
Peace to you and yours.

Robin and Family,
I, too, offer my sincere condolences on your loss. I knew Ralph from his work as a Town of Whitewater supervisor and he always exhibited the highest degree of professionalism while performing that job. He showed respect to all who had dealings with him and in turn received their respect. He was a good man and I will miss him.

To The Goessling Family
My sincerest prayers for your loss of our ever dearest Ralph.
Ralph was a very sweet, gentle, and a loving man. Indeed he was a big man with a big heart. I will never forget the kindness of this family when I was an exchange student for they whole-heartedly took me in their home in the last few months of my exchange year and embraced me as their own.
Ralph was a very good man, father, husband, friend, and a grandfather and he will be in my thoughts and prayers. I will never forget you Ralph.

Dear Mrs. Goessling, You do not know me, but I was moved to express my sympathy upon reading your loving husband's obituary in tonight's Daily Jefferson County Union. I read the obituary's every evening in the paper and in all the year's I have been reading them; never has there been one written with so much love and so much joy. I cried when I read it and I don't even know you or your husband. It was so personal and written with such heart - wow. What a beautiful journey you had with one another. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. May God's simple blessings be with you during all the difficult days ahead.

Dear Robin and kids--my heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your sweet husband, dad, grandfather. I learned of Ralph's passing over the weekend as an old Whitewater friend posted it on facebook. So sorry, and way to young! Your obituary brought tears to my eyes. If you can remember the wonderful person he was every day, I hope you will be able to find comfort in that. I went the WHS only for 2 years but remember he was the star wrestler for the Whippets. He will be missed, but never forgotten!

Wow!! What a beautiful way to say goodbye. I've recently moved to Tennessee but have seen so many friends, acquaintances, and loved ones pass in 2009. Robin, your love for Ralph certainly reflects in his obituary. I remember seeing the two of you together, sometimes with your daughter and always admired the love that each of you displayed for one another. I'm certain you will carry on Ralph's legacy with the highest regards. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I came to the Nitardy Funeral Home website looking to write condolences to a very dear friend of mine that I recently found had passed away. Having moved to Tennessee, I was not informed until recently. The news lead me to the condolence section and to my dismay, I find Ralph's obituary. Although acquaintances through a coffee shop, you may not remember who I am. I do, however, remember the two of you. I'm saddened by the news and wish you and your family the very best during a very stressful period of your lives. Best Wishes Always, Lori
